A quick sculpt made with ZBrush 3. Head/Hair and upper armour part were made from a Polysphere/Cube. The lower part of the armour I sculpted from a base mesh modeled in max. ZBrush is lots of fun

Hey there!

It was about one year ago (with on and offs of course) when I decided to attempt modelling Spidey. Now I am happy that I can finally call him finished.

I modelled the base mesh in max and detailed it in mudbox. The net is entierly modelled. Textures done with Photoshop and everything rendered in max with VRay.

I hope you like it!
Cheers!

Finally I am able to show a new piece
I tried to reconstruct a Photograph taken by Eolo Perfido.
He's an amazing photographer and does a great job.
Once I surfed his portfolio and I dicovered an artwork that directly caught my interest. I thought it would be a great challenge to do that in 3D. Obviously my result doesn't look exactly like the reference but I like how it turned out.
You can see the original on his website (www.eoloperfido.com >Portfolio >Gallery 5).

Concerning the technical specs:
I used mudbox to turn an older male face that I did some time ago into this female face. Then I exported the model at level 0 and did the uvs in max. The displacement map was calculated in mudbox. The Texturing was done in Photoshop. Later I rendered everything in max with mental ray.
I will post wires and lightning setup soon.

For now, I hope you like it!

Hi there!
My latest character based on a sculpture by Hiroshi Katagiri
I created the model in 3ds max, textures were done in Zbrush, rendering with mental ray.
It all started by testing the "bridge" tool in 3ds max ^^ Then it more and more developed and turned out as it is now. The model is not rigged but directly modelled in pose.
Thx for viewing, I hope you like it
Cheers!
